Child Safety Standards & CSAE Prevention

1. Zero-Tolerance Statement Against CSAE & CSAM

Cling operates with an unequivocal, zero-tolerance policy regarding Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) and Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE). We consider any attempt to generate, upload, possess, distribute, solicit, facilitate, or promote sexual abuse or exploitation involving minors to be a criminal act.

Any account confirmed or reasonably suspected of engaging in CSAE or CSAM will be subject to:

• Immediate & Permanent Termination: Instant deactivation, device ban, and permanent blacklisting from Cling.
• Digital Evidence Preservation: Strict preservation of transmission logs, media hashes, timestamps, IP records, and user telemetry in accordance with applicable statutory standards.
• Mandatory Law Enforcement Referral: Direct reporting to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) via CyberTipline and national law enforcement bodies.

2. Prohibited Conduct & Content Definitions

The following activities and contents are strictly forbidden on Cling across all user touchpoints (including voice bios, voice notes, photos, text bios, chat messages, and user interactions):

• Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM): Visual, audio, or textual depictions or representations of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct, including AI-generated, synthetic, photorealistic, or cartoon depictions.
• Child Grooming & Enticement: Any communication or behavioral pattern aimed at building trust with or manipulating an underage person for sexual exploitation, illicit contact, or abuse.
• Child Sexual Exploitation and Extortion (Sextortion): Threats, coercion, blackmail, or intimidation involving sexual imagery or allegations against minors or young adults.
• Child Trafficking & Facilitation: Advertising, soliciting, brokering, or facilitating the sexual exploitation, servitude, or trafficking of minors.
• Underage Participation: Any registration, account creation, or interaction on the platform by individuals under the age of eighteen (18).

3. 18+ Age Restriction & Underage Prevention

Cling is an adult dating and social connection platform. Minors (individuals under the age of 18) are strictly prohibited from creating accounts, using, or accessing the application under any circumstances.

• Strict DOB Gatekeeping: During onboarding, all users must input their verified Date of Birth. The registration system programmatically calculates age and rejects anyone under 18 years old.
• Underage Content Auditing: Profile pictures depicting minors (including photos of babies, children, or students in school uniforms) are flagged and rejected by human and automated moderation.
• Immediate Suspension: If any account is suspected of belonging to an underage user, the profile is immediately frozen pending verification, and if underage status is confirmed, the account and associated data are permanently terminated.

4. In-App Reporting Mechanism (User Guidelines)

Cling - Voice Dating & Chat allows users to report child safety concerns in-app with dedicated priority categorization. If you encounter any suspected underage user, child abuse content, grooming, or child safety violation, report it immediately using any of the following in-app mechanisms:

5. Moderation, Detection & Enforcement Practices

To ensure CSAM and CSAE have zero footprint on our network, Cling employs a multi-tiered safety architecture:

• Automated Pre-Upload Filtering: Profile photos, voice notes, and textual content are parsed through automated moderation heuristics and keyword filters designed to identify abusive terminology and illicit content.
• 24/7 Priority Moderation Triage: Reports categorized under child safety bypass routine queues and appear with prominent red badges and audio alerts in our internal Admin Moderation Dashboard.
• Quick Administrative Sanctions: Moderation personnel have administrative powers to immediately execute temporary suspensions, permanent bans, message purges, device fingerprint blocks, and legal evidence exports.
• Fair Appeal Framework: In cases of disputed identity or age misunderstandings, accounts may be reviewed through our structured appeal process, requiring certified government-issued ID to verify the user is 18+.

6. Compliance with Child Safety Laws & Mandatory Reporting

My app complies with all relevant child safety laws, and reports to regional and national authorities. Cling strictly adheres to international child protection legislation, including:

• United States: 18 U.S.C. § 2258A (Mandatory reporting of CSAM and child sexual exploitation by electronic communication service providers to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children).
• Australia: Online Safety Act 2021 and Basic Online Safety Expectations (BOSE) under the jurisdiction of the eSafety Commissioner.
• European Union: Directive 2011/93/EU on combating the sexual abuse and sexual exploitation of children and child sexual abuse material.
• Global Cooperation: Immediate cooperation with INTERPOL, Europol, state/federal police departments, and national law enforcement agencies worldwide upon receiving lawful judicial requests.

When a CSAE/CSAM incident is detected or verified, Cling preserves pertinent evidence (without further disseminating the material) and files a mandatory CyberTipline report with NCMEC or the relevant national reporting center, facilitating rapid rescue and law enforcement intervention.
